The Pitch Factory
This was SUCH a fun project! A friend of mine connected me with the owner of this business that was right up my alley. The Pitch Factory is a super cool space for girls softball pitching lessons. The owner, Jessica Davis, trains an almost unbelievable number of girls in this space every week, and she wanted something more feminine and pretty than most sporty places offer.
She told me that she loved floral, and was particularly fond of the artist behind Rifle Paper Company. So I did a little research, put together a color pallet, and she got the space prepared for me immediately.
I was very proud of myself, because I have gotten much quicker and more efficient since I started out last year. This mural only took me 10 hours from beginning to end.
Every time a girl hits a new speed record, she gets her picture taken in front her favorite part of this wall. I played softball for most of my life. It has been and will always be my favorite sport. For a few of those years, I was a pitcher, and being able to revisit it from a different angle was an unexpected joy for me!
